Recollective supports 27 languages and all time zones, making it easy to run global research. You can manage multiple markets in a single study, or create one study per market to localize details like moderator, language, and time zone. To streamline setup, entire studies can be copied and automatically translated. This quickly duplicates key study elements for each market, leaving only the participant language to adjust while maintaining the overall structure.
To configure a multi-market project using Automatic Translations, an Analyst can follow this three step procedure:

Step 2: Copy the programmed study
Step 3: Customize the Participant Language
Step 1: Program the study for your first market

📍 Go to your site Dashboard
Click Add Study
In the New Study modal, use the Study Languages menu to define your primary language (e.g. English)
While you can choose to add additional Study Languages at this stage, it's not necessary to include all target languages right away. Automatic Translations will be enabled by default once more than one Study Language is added.
Complete study creation by clicking Next
Program your required Activities, Discussions, etc., to complete study setup
Step 2: Copy the programmed study

📍 Go to your site Dashboard
Locate the study you wish to copy (i.e. your first market)
Use the Study card dropdown menu to select Copy Study
Select which portions of the study you wish to copy (e.g. Home Pages, Activities, Clients and Moderators, etc.)
Click Copy
Step 3: Customize the Participant Language
When prompted to configure your copied study’s settings, use the Study Languages menu to enable any additional Study Languages
Use the subsequent Participant Languages dropdown to select the appropriate Participant Language for your new market
Optional: Customize the time zone
Complete study creation by clicking Next
Once the copying process is complete, Recollective will automatically translate all existing study content into the newly selected Study Language. Learn more about Automatic Translations here.
